St. Patrick’s Church Jordan, NY is searching for an Organist & Choir Director. Responsibilities include 3 weekend services: Sat. 5 pm / Sun. 8 a.m. + 10 a.m, as well as all Holy Days, Funerals, Weddings. Musician will choose music — meetings as needed with pastor, to discuss music for Advent / Christmas / Lent / Easter / major holidays. The organ is a nice 3 rank Wicks —  The stopped flute plays from 16’ (in the pedal) to 2’ in one of the manuals.  The 8’ Principal and 8’ string are similarly unitized.  All under expression.  Quite a big sound for such a small instrument.  The organ has three or four MIDI stops and the present organist has utilized them for added variety of sound.  There is also a set of chimes.  Also, good upright piano in loft. Compensation depends on experience.
