Competition-Based Reading of New Works and New Music Concert

A follow-up to the Discover the Organ demonstration and workshop, these events on November 9 provide composers with a chance to get feedback on their works and attend a new music concert.

The competition-based reading of new works for the organ from 1:30-3:30pm will provide selected students with a professional recording of a reading of their music, performed by Syracuse University faculty and students.

The new music concert from 4-5pm will feature Syracuse University faculty and students performing a range of repertoire, with an emphasis on works that include the organ. All events are free, but registration is required. Please visit https://vpa.syr.edu/discover-the-organ/ for more information.
