St. Marianne Cope Parish  (Formally St. Cecilia’s and Our Lady of Peace) in Solvay is looking for a Director of Music/Organist to play their 1874 Wilcox Mechanical Action Organ (15 ranks). Responsibilities include; Saturday: 4 PM  Sunday:  8 AM and 10 AM, 5 holy days (3 Masses per Holy Day),  2 Evening Prayer Services per year, 45 funerals, 12 weddings. Pay based on number of Services directed and played. This is a wonderful opportunity to play a 19th century organ in a lively acoustical setting.  All traditional hymnody and Mass settings.  Music is a priority for us and most all liturgies are sung.  We are looking for someone who really loves to excel at service playing.
