Position: Organist (10 month)

St. James’ Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, NY is seeking an organist for our weekly Sunday morning worship service starting November 5, 2025. Duties include playing preludes and postludes, hymns, service music, and an anthem in collaboration with the Director of Music for Sunday weekly service (7:45 am call, 8:30 am service). Additionally, the organist will be available to rehearse with the choir once a week (Wednesday 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm) and play for Christmas Eve, Holy Week, and Easter services. Additional opportunities include weddings, funerals, and other events that require organ music. Ability to play piano desired, but not required.
